Your first SELFish Yoga class? Here’s everything you need to know…
The class
Each SELFish Yoga class follows a flowing sequence, usually explored over a 4–6 week period around a central theme.
I incorporate elements of Hatha yoga, but rather than holding each posture separately, we move and flow from one posture to the next.
Classes always begin with mindfulness and breathwork, before moving into the physical practice, and finish with relaxation — giving you a chance to properly pause before heading back into the real world.
You don’t need to know what you’re doing before you arrive. I’ll guide you through everything.
What should I bring?
Yoga mat
Please bring your own mat. Don’t have one? Just let me know and I’ll bring a spare.
Blocks
I recommend bringing a pair of yoga blocks. They’re there to support your practice and help you find the right position for your body — they aren’t a sign that you can’t do something!
I also have spare blocks available.
Wear something comfortable that you can move in and bring some water if you’d like.
Pricing & booking
Classes are booked through ClassFit, paid directly to me.
Single class: £10 pay as you go
Class pass: £33 for 4 classes (£8.25 per class).
Class passes are valid for 6 months.
There’s no commitment to attend every week. A class is only deducted from your pass when you book and attend, subject to the cancellation policy below.
Your First Class
I recommend starting with a single class at £10. If you love it and want to keep coming, you can then pay for a class pass.
Payment: Payment is made directly to me rather than through ClassFit. You can pay by BACS or cash at class.
Cancelling a class
If you’ve booked an in-person class and can no longer make it, you can cancel through ClassFit up to 12 hours before the class without charge.
If you cancel with less than 12 hours’ notice, the class will be deducted from your class pass.
Before your first class
If you have an injury, health condition or anything else that might affect your practice, please let me know before class.
Yoga should work for your body, not the other way around. I’ll always offer options and modifications, so please don’t be afraid to ask.
And finally…
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be experienced.
You don’t need to be able to touch your toes.
Just come as you are.
I’ll take care of the rest.
